We are an all-inclusive non-partisan group of neighbors who care about our community and our city and are working to make a difference. We found one another on NextDoor in late 2019 with a goal of finding and electing an effective District One Supervisor. Our focus has been on working together to find solutions to what we have agreed are the central issues in our neighborhood.

Marie Hurabiell

Marie Louise Hurabiell, Esq., an eighth generation San Franciscan, born and raised in District 1, is a founder and board member of a mental health technology company, and is honored to serve the public as vice-chair of the Presidio Trust board.  Previously, she ran her own law firm, was a General Counsel, practiced at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom and held a Federal Clerkship.

Ms. Hurabiell has led fundraising efforts for many non-profit organizations including Georgetown University, San Francisco Ballet, Wender Weis Foundation for Children, The Hamlin School, the International Museum of Women, and Holy Family Day Home, totaling over $40M.

She drove the building of a school for homeless and low-income children and is actively involved in anti-human trafficking work.

She serves on the Georgetown Board of Regents, and the SF Ballet Auxiliary and has served on the boards of the Holy Family Day Home, the SF Ballet, the NCL GG Chapter, and the Hamilton Family Center.

In D1, she supports many causes such as the Richmond District Neighborhood Center, the Cal Academy of Sciences and the de Young Museum.

Ms. Hurabiell received her B.A. with Honors from Georgetown University and her J.D. with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in D1 with her fiancee and 2 children.

Max Young

Max is a native San Franciscan who grew up in the Richmond District. He is a small business owner and member of San Francisco Open Air Drug Dealing Task Force and the Mid-Market Business Association. He is married to another native and father of two girls.

Brad McMillan

Brad, whose family roots in San Francisco go back to 1854, grew up in San Francisco. In the sixties, he attended City College of San Francisco and University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. 

Brad raised his family in San Francisco and his children still live here. He has run his small San Francisco business since 1974.

Brad is heartbroken at the mess our city government has made of our lovely city.

David Golden

David Golden moved to the Richmond right after the 1989 earthquake. Years back, he worked on numerous supervisor campaigns, handled IT for Jeff Adachi’s inaugural campaign and ran the “No on Proposition H” campaign in 2005. He’s currently engaged in a venture-funded startup. 

Erika Kim

Erika is originally from Mexico City and moved to San Francisco 25 years ago. She has lived in different neighborhoods thoughout the city and in the last 10 years has lived in The Richmond with her husband and son. Erika works as a Marketing Director for Avison Young, a private Commercial Real Estate company in San Francisco. She is fluent in Spanish and loves running in the Golden Gate Park and the Presidio.

Lenna Dawydiak

Leanna was raised in the Richmond District and still lives here. She is a practicing attorney and a retired Police Sergeant from the San Francisco Police Department.

Mainul Mondal

Mainul I. Mondal is a Founder and CEO of a leading healthcare technology company, which uses conversational artificial intelligence to create a real-time, mental health vital sign.

Mainul is on the Board of Trustees at the World Affairs Council and was a Leadership Delegate with the Australian American Leadership Delegation. Mainul was a Rockefeller Fellow at the Public Health Institute and was a member of the Board of Directors at Super Stars Literacy.

Mainul grew up in Bangladesh and worked on issues, including public health, government response to environmental matters and the refugee crisis. He currently lives in San Francisco with his fiancee and two children.

Ava Swartz

Ava Swartz is a former journalist (Newsweek, Saturday Review and other publications), the author of numerous articles on housing and health, past president of the Small Property Owners of San Francisco and author of the Consumers’ Legal Guide to Today’s Health Care.

She is also certified by the Specialty Tea Institute, lectures on tea and is the founder of the The Lilac Tea Room, an online tea salon.

She has a BA from University of California, Berkeley and Masters’ degrees in Urban Planning and in Public Health from Columbia University.
